Bal du Lac
Bal du Lac is the Milwaukee Art Museum’s yearly black tie gala. It is always a exhilarating event where museum guests are transported to a new space for the party.

SAVE THE DATE
Large postcards are always fun to get in the mail, this one was no exception. With a matte paper and a gloss ink, the invite screamed James Bond. We got a lot of feedback from the start that guests were indeed saving the date.

INVITATION
• Soft Coated Paper
• Die Cut
• UV Spot Gloss
I wanted to add to the intrigue of the event by making the invite reveal itself slowly, the iron cross fold was just what I needed to keep the element of surprise waiting around every fold.
PROGRAM LAYOUT
Everyone wants to feel like a spy at a James Bond themed event, so we created the program to look like a spy’s case file. With recycled brown textured paper and a triple hit of red ink, the cover looked like it could have been stamped and given to you before your next mission.
